   I Love You Lord

I love you Lord for this earth;
the changing leaves of autumn
remind me you are here,
working in our lives, always.
Your miracles are ever present
from the beauty that fills the skies,
to the smiles of all the children,
your work is awe-inspiring.

I love you Lord for you love us.
You give us mercy when we tire,
and strength when we’re weak,
caring for us like the children we are.
You hold us in your loving arms
as we cry out for sanctuary.
You mourn with us when we grieve,
for you know loss like no other.

I love you Lord for you are God.
You are the Creator and our Savior.
You look past our mistakes
and bestow us grace we don’t deserve.
My Father, I love you so much.
May my actions bring you glory
and forgive me when I fail.
My only wish is to serve you.
